What is the WTO Settlement?
Is it just me, or does this remind any one else of a rich family trying to pay off an embarrassed, rich family trying to cover up some unwanted family blemish? It’s like paying to sweep this under the radar will just make everyone forget about it.
I’ll take “Civil Liberty Intrusion” for $100, Alex.

This Has Totally Been Me The Last Few Weeks

Cyanide & Happiness @ Explosm.net
Fortunately, my project is done at work, Clayton is doing better after his tonsils were taken out and I have a week and a half of me sitting on my ass collecting cookie crumbs on my oversized belly while I go into a near comatose state playing madden coming up. I think that should help.

Guessing Game Time…
3 guesses. Who is this:

Ok, yes. I know it’s Luigi. But who is in the costume?
Ok, ok. I’ll give you a couple of clues. The photo was taken at Paul Phillips’ wedding reception and was taken by Melissa Hayden.
That last one should give it away to any of you who REALLY follow poker.
Give up???
Alright. I’ll throw pity on you poor sports. Highlight the text below to see that is it in fact:
Allen Cunningham
If you seek though the gallery, you can also find pictures of other pro players like Andy Bloch and John Juanda.

Happy Birthday Amy
Today is Amy’s birthday!! So happy birthday. I won’t say how old she is. While some women get sensitive about that sort of thing, Amy isn’t typically that type but I assume some day she will be. I don’t want to make the mistake of finding out when that is.
Besides, I should catch enough flack from posting this picture:
I don’t need to add to it.
I haven’t posted much lately, but there as been much that was post worthy. Since I don’t want to detract from Amy’s congratulatory post, I’ll try and keep it short. Some of the things going on have been of course, Thanksgiving which we just had at our house. The kids helped out making dinner and it was nice to have a long weekend break. Last weekend we went to my inlaws to help celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary and also have christmas with that side of the family since they were all back in the state. My craptop also took a shit that weekend when my wife told me that I didn’t let her know that just unplugging my laptop with it’s horribly depleted battery, wasn’t a good way to shut it down. Well, windows started blue screening on boot so I installed the new hard drive I had already gotten for it and am trying to see if I can get by without needing to install windows and just running kubuntu. So far so good on that one, but we’ll see. Then on Tuesday, Clayton (AKA #2) went in to get his tonsils removed and some other procedure that was the nasal equivalent of his nose being rotor rootered out and is currently in the process of recovering from that. We are delaying most of Amy’s birthday until everyone can enjoy it and plan to make it an enjoyable day for all when we can. That and the fact that I had been home very little for her birthday since I was gone for my monthly lug meeting this evening too.
Whew.
Well, that wasn’t everything but it pretty much gets me caught up. I still need to do things like post my monthly poker results which I will get to if I can get Cake Poker running on my laptop. One of the last hold overs from my windows transition, so we will see how that goes.
