Yet another reason why windows sucks ballz…

If I put in a DVD, it should just play. I shouldn’t have to download codecs, plugins or any other (possibly non-free) software. Seriously, this just shouldn’t even be something I should have to think or worry about. Completely ridiculous for a commercial OS.

    You need to DL VLC media player. Works with damn near everything and it’s free.

    Have it. I was just pissed that windows doesn’t do this out of the box. The only reason I have windows in my house is for poker, so I’m well aware of VLC.
